Acme Manufacturing is seeking a full-timeProject Managerspecializing in the ability to organize, manage, plan, and execute complex projects for Acme’s robotic automation systems. Acme is the industry leader in providing custom robotic metal finishing systems. We service over 20 industries globally. Acme’s core business is to provide unique robotic automated solutions for material removal in aerospace, medical implants, consumer products, automotive, heavy equipment, and many other industries. We are growing our global robotic finishing technology through a diversified balance of industries and locations.

Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver assigned projects on time, within scope, and with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop detailed project plans, define tasks and milestones, and ensure timely completion to meet project goals.
- Maintain documentation and track project performance metrics, including timelines, budgets, and other deliverables, to ensure successful project completion and achievement of goals.
- Conduct risk assessments, communicate identified risks to management, and recommend mitigation strategies for potential challenges.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication between internal teams, customers, and vendors, ensuring questions and concerns are addressed promptly. Maintain collaborative relationships throughout the project lifecycle to achieve project goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Plays a key role in customer Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and buy-offs, ensuring that all project specifications are met and that systems are delivered to client satisfaction. Coordinate test activities, resolve issues, and secure necessary approvals before shipment.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following company policies and procedures.

Experience & Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a similar discipline is required. Equivalent job experience may also be considered.
- A minimum of three years of experience in project management or a related field is required, with a preference for candidates who have managed complex, cross-functional projects.
- Project management certifications, such as PMP, PgMP, CAPM, or similar, are highly preferred.
- Knowledge of robotic systems, automation technologies, or manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello) is a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%, or more as needed, primarily within the United States to support project needs.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams, adapt to changing priorities, and think strategically.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions.
Work Environment
While most of the work happens in the office, Project Managers will also spend a good amount of time in manufacturing areas, including on the shop floor, overseeing projects, coordinating activities, or troubleshooting. You should be comfortable with light physical tasks, like standing, walking, or moving between different areas. The job requires wearing safety gear, such as safety glasses, ear protection, gloves, etc., and a commitment to following all safety rules is a must. You’ll also need good vision and hearing to safely navigate the shop floor, spot potential hazards, and understand instructions in louder environments.
